We know from Scripture that there is only one God and one mediator between God and man.    That mediator is not any human government official.   It is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ.    As Paul writes in Ephesians, “In Him (JESUS CHRIST) and through faith in HIM (JESUS CHRIST) we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”   That’s the only way any sinner may approach God – in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.   There is no other name to invoke in true prayer.
